In Radical Surrender, Part I of the Radical series Pastor Joe Wood explains that to surrender is to yield ownership, to relinquish control over what we consider to be ours.

Many of us consider ourselves Christians, we have prayed and invited God into our lives, but have we truly surrendered all? Most of us still have some things that we hold onto, relationships, habits, sin, things that we know God wants us to give to him but we don’t.

In 2Kings 7:3 we read about four lepers who were faced with a choice. They could retreat, go back to where they came from, and die. They could remain where the were and die. Or, they could surrender and they may still die, but there was hope that they may get some food and live. In the end, God performed a miracle and not only did they live by surrendering, but they got gold and other riches in the process.

Today, one way or the other, we will all choose to either retreat, remain or surrender. Learn the results of each choice and the hope that comes with surrender to God in “Radical Surrender.”
